Comic Art News: R.I.P. Frank Frazetta

Author: Frank Frazetta, one of the most renowned fantasy illustrators of the 20th century whose stunning and energetic images influenced a generation, died this afternoon at a hospital near his home in Boca Grande, Florida. He was 82.
The cause of death was a stroke, said Rob Pistella and Steve Ferzoco his business managers.
Funeral arrangements will be announced shortly.
We’ve truly lost an artist whose contributions to this hobby are without measure. I’m going to spend the rest of today reflecting on how his work made such an impact on me by looking at the many pieces of art posted here at CAF.
